It’s January. January is the time of year when people make resolutions and are encouraged to create changes that will improve their lives. But…It’s January. It’s often cold and grey outside. Who wants to make improvements and changes when it’s so cold out? You do! I’m here to make the case for outside play even in January. Playing outside improves your child’s physical development, strengthens their motors skills and encourages a love of nature. And let’s face it, sometimes they need to burn off that extra energy. So bundle up, grab hats and gloves and head outdoors! Your mood will improve and your spirits will lift. And when you get cold and need to head indoors to warm up, well…That’s what hot chocolate is for. Enjoy!
