Masks are optional for all students and staff unless they have a known exposure to Covid. Then follow the policies below.
If your child tests positive for Covid they will be asked to stay home for 7 days from the onset of symptoms or positive test if asymptomatic. They may return on day 8 if they have been fever-free for 24 hours without the use of medication. A negative test is not required to return to school.
If your child is exposed to covid, they may remain at school regardless of vaccination status, but they must wear a mask for 10 days. If symptoms develop during that time, get tested and quarantine if necessary.
If there is an exposure or positive case in a classroom, all staff and students in that room will be masked for 10 days.
**How to calculate quarantine: The date of your exposure is considered day 0. Day 1 is the first full day after your last contact with a person who has Covid.
